Toki Film Festival Review.
Toki Film Festival Review.
The Robbery.
School: Paroa School.
Actors: Caitlin, Pippa, Sammi.
Hi Paroa School this is Molly from Karoro School. I liked The Robbery film the best because it had great sound and you can really hear their voices. They used slow motion which made the film interesting. But I don't know how it explains Our Place. The acting was great. I am really happy that you entered your film into this festival.

Stick insects are very social insects. They look like sticks. It is very hard to tell the difference between a stick and a stick insect. They have a very good skill of being able to camouflage.
Habitat
Stick insects are very good at camouflaging so they live in places where they can camouflage such as bush or Rata trees. some species live in a grassland.

Stick insects can get about 5-6cm long. Nymphs eat their own moulted skin after they shed. Stick insects look like tiny twigs walking. Stick insects have a fork looking claw on each of their six legs.
Food And Sleep
Stick insects eat pollen cones. New Zealand stick insects eat raspberries, blackberrys and rose. Stick insects do not eat each other. They also eat a range of native plants rata or pohutukawa trees.
Colour And Shape
Stick insects are found in a few colors such as green brown and a reddish brownish color. Stick insects shapes are all different some look like a cylinder.

Animation
WALT make animation using slides.
First we had to choose a background that suited our character. Then we chose a picture that went with our background then at the end of it we wrote png which means it turns the background transparent it was challenging but fun.🐋

Small World

Small World
It is a lovely hot sunny day at Limestone beach. Ahhhh there is a red and white checkered blanket falling on top of me. I thought this was the end of the world. Then I felt a big heavy squishy lump sit next to me. Sorry I forgot to introduce myself I am Sammy the Sandfly. Any way let's get on with the story. Then I smelt the stinkiest smell it was Marmite. I quickly flew away. When the stinky beast had finished his smelly sandwich I crawled up to his ankles and bit them. I quietly cackled moo ha ha ha ha. Oh No he had found me. I stared right into his eyes. He tried to swat me but I dodged him. Then I flew into the dark and gloomy shade under a palm tree. As the clouds came over I went to a lady in her bikini. I flew into her sunburnt thighs and stuck my fangs into her. As she got out of the sea she rapped her sandy towel around her. She hadn't noticed the bit until she started to dry her legs. She screamed and started to rapidly scratch her leg. She swatted me while I was in the air. I was in pain I fell to the ground. I'm dying. THE END!!

Respect!!
WALT use the word art tool to make a poster about RESPECT. Then we will blog about the process.
Today we have made posters about Respect. We had to watch a Sesame Street video so we could get some words out of it. When we started our posters we had to use Word Art to write in words. Then we had to put in a background.😁

Cartoon Me
Kia Ora my name is Molly. We have been learning to be cybersmart and create our own images using Google Drawing. We really enjoyed doing it . First you create a google drawing then you go into insert and click image and go to camera and take a photo of your self . Insert the photo into the google drawing. I went into the polyline tool and started drawing around my face. Once my face was drawn ,I deleted my photo. I added a cool background picture. This was so much fun, you should try and make one, I would love to see it on your blog.
