ANZAC 2021

These last few weeks we have been learning about Anzac day and what it means. This is Me, Pippa, Casey and Emma's Maori Battalion work. On this google doc we had to answer all 20 question about the Maori Battalion. We used a site that you read on and it tells you about the Maori Battalion. I also read a book called Children's War it is a very good book and tells me a lot about what happened around the war time. I didn't get to do a activity about Children's War because I did not have enough time. I have learnt that Major George Dittmer was the first Maori commander of the Battalion.

    Great work Molly, I definitely learnt some new facts! Your Dad and I have travelled through Trieste so found it interesting that is where the war ended for the 28th Maori Battalion, I had no idea. Keep up the great work!
